Tell us what you’d love to change.
Whether it’s entertaining, planting, privacy, pathways, lighting or simply making better use of the space, a few words about what you have in mind will help us create a more useful visual.

How to snap and send your photos
You don’t need a fancy camera. Your phone is perfect. The clearer the photos, the easier it is for us to create a realistic visual of what your outdoor space could become.
-
Take photos in landscape mode rather than portrait.
-
Stand back as far as you reasonably can so we can see the whole area you’d like to improve.
-
Take one photo looking straight towards the space, ideally from where you would naturally view it, such as from your patio, deck, back door or driveway.
-
Take photos from both corners of the area, looking diagonally across the space. This helps us understand the size, shape and depth.
-
Include the edges and surroundings, such as your house, fences, paths, existing trees, sheds or neighbouring boundaries. These give us useful perspective.
-
Keep the camera roughly at eye level and avoid pointing it sharply up or down.
-
Try not to use zoom. Move backwards instead where possible.
-
Take your photos during daylight, preferably when the area is evenly lit rather than in very dark shadows.
-
Send 3–5 photos if you can. Different angles give us much more to work with.
Best angles to include:
-
Straight-on view of the main area
-
From the front-left corner looking across
-
From the front-right corner looking across
-
A wider photo showing how the area connects to the house or surrounding property
-
An extra photo of any particular area you’d like us to focus on
Don’t worry about tidying everything first.
We want to see the space as it really is. Just make sure the area you’d like transformed is clearly visible.
